Groups, Meeting & Retreats

Summer and Fall
Powderhorn is the perfect setting for retreats and meetings. You'll feel like you have the place all to yourself. Powderhorn is located on a National Scenic Byway which winds its way up the 10,000 foot high Grand Mesa. Our full-time meeting planner will assist you with every detail of your event, so that you can focus on your meeting. You'll be inspired in our peaceful setting in the Colorado mountains, and you'll enjoy Powderhorn's glorious summer weather, wildflowers, hiking trails and spectacular views. Watch for wildlife, such as deer, elk, hummingbirds, marmots and bluebirds, right out your door. In the fall, enjoy a mountainside of quaking golden aspen.

Winter
How about an overnight ski meeting where you won't face long lift lines or expensive lift tickets? Powderhorn offers runs for all skiing and boarding levels and very reasonable prices. The mountain area feeds into a central base area with casual and fine dining, a huge deck and excellent ski school and rental facilities.

Other fun things to do in the area:

  • Grand Mesa National Forest
  • Summer--Hiking, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking
  • Winter--Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing
  • Wine tastings and tours
  • Dinosaur museums and quarries
  • Colorado National Monument-spectacular red canyons with hiking and mountain climbing
